Episode 3- McBride and the Recrystallization App

I'm back and I come bearing gifts. Welcome back to the Drexel Science Podcast.

In this episode I speak with a fellow student, a junior chemistry major named Matthew McBride.

We wax poetic about his application of Open Notebook Science for undergraduate research, ease and access of open information to conduct experiments and the new compound he was able to synthesize a new compound using the recrystallization application.

He's an extremely interesting and talented guy, check it out.

Introduction to my Podcast

Hello everyone, my name is Alex Spruck and I am a soon to be graduated senior at Drexel University majoring in Technical and Science Communication

I'd like to give a brief overview of what this blog is:

This is a platform for me to post about and link to my podcasting project titled- Drexel Science Podcast

The subject of the podcast I've created are the research initiatives and programs that comprise the science departments in Drexel University.

My audience could be defined as those who are interested in science as a whole or specifically and prospective students interesting in coming to Drexel and majoring in a science degree.

Ultimately I hope my podcast will develop to a point where anyone can pick up and listen to my podcast and develop an interest and following in my material but that is a long while away.

Stay tuned for my podcast episode posts!
